Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of Local Discount Pass, operated by Local Discount Pass LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them before creating an account or purchasing a membership. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Accounts

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement, or use the service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where permitted. The service is not intended for children under 13. Provide accurate account details, keep your password confidential, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.

2. What membership provides

The standard membership is $4.99 per month and provides unlimited access across participating locations. Individual offers may have their own redemption limits and restrictions.

Local Discount Pass gives eligible members access to listed offers from all participating businesses in every location. It is not a gift card, stored-value account, or promise of a specific dollar amount of savings. Actual savings depend on available offers and your use of them.

Participating businesses, offers, operating hours, and availability may change. We do not guarantee that a particular business or offer will remain available for the entire membership period. We will honor applicable consumer rights if changes materially affect a purchased service.

3. Using offers

Read each offer’s restrictions before using it. Limits may include eligible items, dates, locations, redemption frequency, minimum purchase, or whether the offer can be combined with other promotions. Follow the displayed redemption instructions and present your pass or confirmation when required.

Do not reproduce, resell, manipulate, or reuse redemption codes or confirmations contrary to the offer’s terms. Unless expressly allowed by a plan, membership access is personal and may not be transferred or shared. You are responsible for the purchase price remaining after the discount and for applicable taxes, fees, and gratuities.

4. Payments, renewal, and cancellation

Before purchase, review the displayed price, billing period, renewal terms, and any trial conditions. A recurring subscription renews according to the terms disclosed at checkout unless canceled through the provider before renewal. A fixed-term membership ends according to its purchase terms.

If you purchase through Apple or Google, that store processes payment and manages subscription changes and cancellation under its terms. Cancel through the same provider that processed your purchase. Signing out, uninstalling an app, or ceasing to use the service does not cancel a subscription.

Cancellation generally stops future renewals; access continues for the period specified by your provider and purchase terms. Refunds are subject to the provider’s rules and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes a nonwaivable refund or cancellation right. Any price changes will be communicated and handled as required by the provider and applicable law.

5. Participating businesses

Participating businesses independently supply their goods and services and are responsible for fulfillment, quality, safety, and their own conduct. Local Discount Pass provides access to offers; it does not itself supply the business’s goods or services unless expressly stated. Contact the business first about a purchase issue, and contact us if an advertised offer is not being honored.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, create fraudulent accounts, submit false redemptions, impersonate another person, interfere with security, scrape or copy the service in an unauthorized manner, or attempt to access another account. We may restrict or suspend access for misuse, security reasons, or a material breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

7. Content and availability

Our branding, software, and original content belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited permission to use the service for its intended purpose. Business names and logos belong to their respective owners.

We work to keep the service useful and accurate, but interruptions, errors, and maintenance may occur. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or particular results.

8. Responsibility and limitations

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. These Terms do not authorize uses of information that conflict with that policy.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date. We will provide additional notice or seek agreement where required for material changes. Changes do not retroactively remove rights you already have.
